Heat Treat Package — Hot Shot HS-360D Dual-Chamber Oven & Haas Rockwell Hardness Tester — SOLD
A complete in-house heat treating and verification setup, sold as one package. The Hot Shot HS-360D is a dual-chamber, table-top heat treating oven — the upper chamber hardens to 2000°F and the lower chamber tempers to 600°F, each with its own programmable PID controller. Running both chambers at once means you can harden and temper in a single session without waiting on one oven to ramp back down.
The Haas 09-0698 Dial Rockwell Hardness Tester is the other half of the loop — it is what tells you the heat treat actually worked. Manual loading, direct HRB and HRC readout, 60/100/150 kgf test forces, and it comes with the full factory accessory kit: both indenters, three anvils, and eight calibration test blocks. It is brand new, never used, and has never come off its shipping skid.
Also included at no extra cost is the Hot Shot argon gas kit — a $246 option we bought alongside the oven and never installed. It is complete and unused, with the Dwyer Visi-Float flowmeter, tubing, fittings, and ceramic dispensing needle. Argon flooding lets you run bright, scale-free heat treats without foil wrap.
Both machines run on ordinary shop power. The oven needs a single 120V 20-amp circuit; the tester needs no power at all.
